symfony1 - is database.xml can be replaced by a php class file -

in web application of application in symfony , in non symfony. non symfony have constant class file , symfony have database.yml file.

is there chance can use php class file instead of database.yml in symfony.

create class having configurable variable @ single point. , in database.yml include class , can call these variable there only.
