html - How many times does a brower request for an image or any media from the server -

i think title covers pretty everything. how many times browser request file eg image whick used in several places on same page? have same image being used severally , know how how client minimize bandwidth usage if browser gonna request many times

the browser download image once , cache it. if requests same image again display cached version.
